Message
Tiruvannamalai District is educationally and economically backward area and the people could not afford much for higher studies of their wards. To fulfil the needs of the people in Tiruvannamalai District, the seeds for higher education were sworn on 1st October 1993 on which Sree Selvavinayagar Trust was established and the main objective of the Trust is to provide educational and employment opportunities to the people of Tiruvannamalai District, particularly Tiruvannamalai town. |

Aim of the Training Programme
The National policy on Education envisages the thrust in Elementary Education will be on Substantial improvement in the quality of education. The improvement in quality of Elementary education depends on the quality of teachers who in turn operates and achieves the above targeted aims. To fulfill the National policy of education and to improve the quality in teacher education programmes, Vignesh College of Education is functioning under self financing scheme. |

Our motive is to train the teachers of high quality who in turn impart knowledge with team spirit, mould the children into good youth, Instill high patterns of discipline and play a significant role towards the well being and development of the society and Nation. |
